Some of the 60-75 million yearly visitors to the DFW may get intimated at times with the size of the airport and the layout of the overall structure. And while it is true that the airport is so large that it has its own zip code, but the structure is, in fact, not complex at all. Five terminals (housing a total of 188 gates) are distributed in such a way that they have an eastern and a western side. The eastern terminals are terminals A, C, and E, and their western counterparts are terminals B and D.
Terminals A, B, and C, are similar and they are connected directly to each other. They all serve American Airlines (with Terminal B serving American Eagle, a branch of American Airlines). Terminal D operates solely international flights, and the unique Terminal E operates domestic flights that are not operated by American Airlines, in addition to flights to Canada. Not so complex after all, is it?
DFW Airport Terminal C
The C Terminal at DFW operates, as mentioned earlier, only American Airlines flights. The available gates are C2 to C39. The floors of the terminal are arranged in the following order: the lower level that is dedicated to arrivals, level 1 that is dedicated to check-ins and departures, a mezzanine, and the upper level that is a Skylink Platform. Skylink is a free inter-terminal train service that operates 24/7 and picks up passengers every few minutes.
You can also get to the Dallas DART (Delta Area Rapid Transit) from the terminal. Press here to check out the DFW Terminal C map.
Facilities at the airport Terminal C
